Calcutta Run 2021 – Going Global – JOIN OUR TEAM!
Calcutta Run 2021, the 23rd event organised by The Law Society of Ireland will take place September 17th – 26th and is a virtual event. Come join our team!
Having learned from last year’s event, the organisers have decided to go bigger, better and global!
This year they ask participants to collectively run, walk, hike, or cycle 30,000km over 10 days from Dublin to Cork, on to New York, next stop Olympic Tokyo, on to Kolkata, and finishing up in Dublin!
We are confident, this will be done, and we are thrilled to add our team to the mix.
Last year, despite changed circumstances due to Covid-19 an impressive €280,499.05 was raised for the chosen charities, this year the organisers hope they will exceed €300,000.
All funds raised in aid of the Peter McVerry Trust and The HOPE Foundation.
What The Panel hopes to do:
Last year our team of 21 (colleagues, family, and friends of The Panel) achieved a total of 1,480km and raised €3,175!!!
This year we are looking to get as close to 1,500km as we can! Every kilometre count – some people will do more/less than others – but it all adds up!
