The Panel attends the launch of the Supply Chain Sustainability School Ireland

Panel discussion at the launch
On Wednesday 24th of January 2024, the Supply Chain Sustainability School launched in Ireland, and we were delighted to attend.

Such was the interest that it was a full house, with over 600 registered, who attended the launch of the Supply Chain Sustainability School at Croke Park yesterday morning. This new FREE industry supported training initiative is a first for the Irish construction sector and promises to bring lots of positive change to the market.

Founding partners include CAIRN, CIF, ESB, Gas Networks Ireland, Glenveagh, Irish Rail, IPUT, Kingspan, Kirby Engineering, Murphy, Roadstone, Saint-Gobain, SISK, Scantec, and Uisce Éireann.

Speaking at the event were Philip Boucher-Hayes, Dr. Tara Shine (Change by Degrees), and Shaun McCarthy (Chair at Supply Chain Sustainability School).

There was also a great panel discussion with six of the founding partners featuring Kieran Holohan (Managing Director, Saint-Gobain), Heidi Hopper-Duffy (Train Operations Environmental & Sustainability Manager, Irish Rail), Sinead Hickey (Head of Sustainability, SISK), PJ Ryan (Head of ESG, CIF), Alan Lowe (Technical Director, Roadstone), and Rachael Scanlon (Senior Property Manager, IPUT).

Our colleague Darina Heavey (Senior Recruitment Consultant) got to meet and speak to some of the founding partners, Sinead Hickey (SISK), Cathal Sherlock (Kingspan), and Shirley McCay (Country Director UK Department for International Trade).

We would like to wish all involved all the very best with this new venture.
